  BUENOS AIRES ON FOOT
Consists of exploring the city on foot and by public transport. The tour visits the Plaza de Mayo and its surrounding area, and stops at the main attractions such as, “la pirámide de Mayo” (pyramid of May square), the “Cabildo” (old town hall), Cathedral and the “Manzana de las Luces”. Take the subway (line “A”, which is the oldest and most historic in South America) to go to the neighbourhood of Congreso. There you will see the National Congress, and other buildings of impressive French and Spanish architecture. Afterwards take a public bus, to the neighbourhood of San Telmo; where we will visit Plaza Dorrego, surrounded by antique shops, and late 19th Century Italian houses dating from the era of immigration. The tour discovers the city’s most colourful neighbourhood: La Boca; where the stadium of Boca Juniors is located (tour does not include stadium entry). The neighbourhood is also famous for Caminito Street, full of artists and people dancing tango, which gives the area its identity. Finally take a bus to the most glamorous and modern neighbourhood in the city, Puerto Madero; to visit el Puente de la Mujer (woman’s bridge), and see the history of Buenos Aires ancient port.

"Thanks to you (Pensaris) for working with me during the past 2 years while I have lived here in Argentina and came here knowing basically no Spanish at all except how to say “hello”, “goodbye”, “thank you” ! I am not fluent by any means but I can read, write, understand and speak Spanish better because of your classes." Erin S.
